PERSONAL MYTHOLOGY

Collection presented at the exhibition "Perivallonta" by the Ragtag Collective, at Eleni Marneri Gallerie, Athens.

Throughout a variety of shapes, materials, techniques, colors and symbols, I attempt to create a personal vocabulary, used to narrate an intimate story, based on the dipole of sensitivity and strength, which lays in the core of the human existence.

This way the basic geometrical shapes become distorted boxes; stiff metal and airy silk are sewn together; a dull palette results to multicolor forms. All the symbolic aspects forming my vocabulary, gain a new meaning once worn, thus becoming part of another person’s story.
